SUBJECT: TWO-WHEELED VEHICLE POLICY

POLICY

The purpose of this policy is to inform departments within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) of the procedures concerning on-campus parking of two-wheeled vehicles, which includes both self-propelled and motor-driven vehicles.

PROCEDURE

  1. Parking of two-wheeled motor-driven and self-propelled vehicles is prohibited in all campus buildings. These vehicles should be parked in the designated areas.
  2. Special parking areas for two-wheeled motor-driven vehicles have been constructed North of ACRC and at the D-level entrance to the North parking deck. These vehicles may also be parked in spaces within a recognized parking lot that are too small for regular size vehicles.
  3. Self-propelled vehicles (bicycles) should be parked in racks provided. These racks include the two mentioned above and the racks located on the east side of the ED II Building under the overhang.
