Charles K. Born is Professor, Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences in UAMS’ College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Born earned the B.S. in Pharmacy at UAMS before earning both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Purdue University. A tenured, 21 year veteran of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Born is a highly decorated educator, being voted the Outstanding Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences by the graduating class five times (each Professor is eligible to win only once in four years). He was also voted College of Pharmacy Teacher of the Year by the college student body in three times.
