Office of Academic Affairs

The Division of Academic Affairs is responsible for providing centralized services in support of the teaching, learning, and research missions of UAMS. The Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs/Research Administration works as a partner with the Deans, other cabinet-level officials, and the Academic Senate for the general intellectual environment of the campus and represents the campus in external relations involving academic programs,with regulatory agencies, liaison bodies, and other campuses and research institutions. The vice chancellor also provides oversight and coordination to the unit directors in the division.
