Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network, the
conference facility in Room 3/110 uses a suite of hardware,
software, and audiovisual tools to facilitate group experiences
over the Internet. The UAMS Access Grid Conference Facility
allows for participation in lectures, seminars, tutorials, and
conferences on the worldwide Access Grid.
The
Access Grid is a project of Argonne
National Laboratory, a U.S. Department of Energy
laboratory operated by the
University
of
Chicago
. The UAMS facility is one
of many nodes on the Access Grid and one of three Access Grid
conference facilities in
Arkansas
.
