Medical Interpreter Training Program Schedule: Location, Duration, Tuition
Training Dates and Locations:
Classes are 8 hours long, from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, for six days NEW! Click here for information about training in Fayetteville. Tuition Tuition is free for UAMS employees, but you must pay the non-refundable LST fee and for materials ( see fee schedule below). Non-UAMS employees, refer to fee schedule below for tuition, materials, and non-refundable LST fee. Please note, materials fee is $75.00 for all participants, regardless of affiliation to UAMS.
Fees are non-refundable once course has started.
Prerequisite All candidates must demonstrate a
very high skills level in
English and one other language by successfully passing the Language
Skills Test (LST). The fee for the LST is
$15.00 and is non-refundable regardless of affiliation to UAMS.
