Medical Interpreter Training Program

Requirements

Interpretation is a complex and demanding task. Therefore, it is important to determine the qualifications of those called to interpret.

Since there is not a language component training provided in either training program, prior to acceptance for training, candidate's skills in the second language must be evaluated through an oral examination.

Exempted candidates from language skills test: candidates with a college-level education earned in a native and English language are not required to complete testing in either of the languages. Proof of course completion must be submitted with your registration.
