Please lock
up all your personal items and don?t take chances by
leaving your purse or other valuables under your desk or in
a desk drawer that is not locked.
It only takes a few minutes to lose everything if it is
easily accessible, and it only takes a few minutes to be
safe and lock it up.

Help us to
take a bite out of crime by being extra cautious and
reporting anything suspicious to the UAMS Police Department.
As the Summer approaches, we need to be extra concerned as
thefts normally go up this time of the year.
Remember we can make a difference and with your help we can
make this a safer working environment.

|
Are
encouraged to secure their personal property and valuables
as well.
We
cannot emphasize the importance of employees securing their
property. Our officers take far too many reports from
employees who had become victims of theft because they were
careless with their property. Don't assume it can't
happen just because it has not happened to you!
MORE
purses are stolen hidden under desks and behind counters
than any other location.
LOCK
IT UP!
DON'T
TAKE CHANCES |

Be
alert for suspicious people loitering in your work area and
notify a supervisor or the UAMS Police.
Thieves
like to move around where there is opportunity. |

|
If
you are working late and have reason to be apprehensive
about getting to your vehicle, call the UAMS Police for an
escort. |
|
|

Blue
light emergency phones are located throughout the UAMS
campus for your safety. Please use these phones to
report any suspicious persons or activity. Everything
you do to make it difficult for the criminal lessens our
chances of becoming a statistic. |

NEVER give
your 'PIN' card number to anyone claiming to be a bank
employee and that INCLUDES the POLICE!
