Patient/Visitor Parking for Employees

Employees / students that are on campus as a patient or a visitor (of a patient) are encouraged to park in their assigned parking area if possible. In the event that is not a viable option, parking is available in the Patient and Visitor area. We ask that you please notify Parking Operations to avoid receiving a parking citation. We also ask that family members visiting clinical facilities who are using a vehicle owned by an employee / student to contact Parking Operations. The purpose of reporting is to assure sufficient patient and visitor parking and compliance with the area’s intended use. For your convenience, there are several reporting options. The options are as follows:

Temporary Vehicles

The same methods can also be used for employees reporting temporary vehicles. Employees with assigned parking on campus may occasionally drive a vehicle to campus that is not registered with Parking Operations. You should park in your assigned parking area and notify Parking to avoid receiving a citation.

Currently the Parking Enforcement team patrols and enforces more than 5,000 spaces on the UAMS Campus. Your cooperation is critical and appreciated.
