Ray Winder Parking Lot - Come see our new UAMS parking lot! The Ray Winder Lot opened Monday December 10, 2012 adding 475 parking spaces. This lot is dedicated to UAMS employees, students and visitors. The Ray Winder Lot is located here The design of the lot is unique, paying homage to the historic Ray Winder Ball Field. The landscaping and rain gardens are an aesthetically pleasing green alternative to control rainwater. There are plans underway to construct a custom bus shelter to enhance customer convenience. Shuttle routes are being modified to support Ray Winder and War Memorial to maximize efficiency for all riders. Shuttle routes can be found here
Track UAMS Buses Real-Time UAMS’ GPS tracking system allows real-time viewing of the bus locations along the standard and express routes. Visit this website to track the buses: http://www.uamsbus.com The GPS Tracking System will expand in the near future. Additional services include a downloadable app. And for riders who do not have Apple or Android phones, a texting option will be available for receiving up to the minute shuttle updates. Did You Know? Deck evening and weekend parking permits are available for Parking 2 (North Parking Deck). This gives access to the employee area of deck after 1:30 p.m. weekdays and 24 hours weekends and holidays. There is no waiting list!! Apply now!Remember Employees that are not on campus as a patient should park in designated employee parking areas only. This process supports our mission of creating comfort, hope, and healing for patients and families by assuring sufficient valued patient and visitor parking supply. Employees and students, if you are in a UAMS visitor area as a patient, please don't forget to call 526-PARK (526-7275) or click here to register your vehicle. This will assure that you or a family member driving a vehicle registered in an employees name do not receive a parking citation.Employees and Students should NOT park on side streets off campus. Employees and students should park only in designated areas served by the UAMS Shuttle, including War Memorial Stadium. You can view maps of the parking areas and shuttle stops here. |
