About UAMS Physician Placement Services

The UAMS Physician Placement Service was developed to assist communities in Arkansas with the recruitment, placement and retention of health care professionals.

This not-for-profit Recruitment Program is part of UAMS Regional Programs which includes the Rural Hospital Program and Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

There is no cost to candidates for using our service, and our cost to client facilities is less than half the cost of national placement firms.
