Welcome to the Clinical Engineering Department of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Our department is responsible for the maintenance of patient care electronic monitoring equipment, clinical laboratory equipment, and other electronic equipment both fixed and portable on the UAMS Campus. In addition, we are responsible for maintenance of the hospital's nurse call systems, tube systems, and the repair of patient beds.
