- Today, we welcome Angie Williamson-Parker as our new Administrative Assistant! She is a newlywed and has been married for4 months. She is also the mother of 5 children, and 1 Grandson. Angie has been with UAMS since 2000 where she began as a Transporter for The Radiology Department. Shortly after, she began working as a Patient Care Technician in the Cardiology unit where she remained for 6 years. Though she loved Patient Care work, she recently decided make a change and join our team. We are excited to have her as our new Administrative Assistant! Welcome Angie!

- We would like to Welcome Bill Roberson! He joins UAMS with an AAS in Electronics Technology and many years of experience in electronics assembly & repair with Teletype, AT&T. He is a Father of a wonderful young lady (Rachel, 15) and his hobbies include trading on eBay; and restoring his old Mustang. Welcome Bill!

- Brain Storz had joined the Clinical Engineering team here at UAMS. He is coming from Jefferson Regional In Pine Bluff where he worked as a Clinical Engineer. He background includes A.A.S Degree in Electro-Mechanical Maintenance, An A.A.S degree in Industrial Electronics & Electricity and a wealth of knowledge in many areas of the hospital. He is also proud father of three children. Welcome Brian!

- Please welcome Robert Giles who has an extensive list of qualifications to contribute to the UAMS Clinical Engineering department. Robert has a lot of experience behind his belt including, over 20 years of active duty as a Data Systems Technician with the US Navy, over 7 years total of combined US Navy & civilian contractor technical training schools. Robert also has hands-on experience in the diagnosis and repair of assorted electronic equipment and three military tours of instructor duty as a computer/electronics repair technician. His resume consists of Certification as a Master Training Specialist and A+ computer technician.

- Carl Porter is celebrating his 30th year with the Clinical Engineering department at UAMS. Please congratulate him on his hard work and dedication of the UAMS! CONGRATS CARL!!

- Please welcome Patti Griffey who will be joining us as our new Administrative Assistant I!

- We have another new hire! Kevin Donald joins us as a CET I. His experience includes an Associates in Electronics Engineering, and a BA in Business majoring in Medical Information Systems. He is a proud father of two and Grandfather of one with twin Grandbabies on the way!

- Let's welcome Nick Quarles - our newest additional to the Clinical Engineering Department. Nick will be joining us as a CET I! You may recognize him from his 3 years as an Employee with MEDIQ PRN here at UAMS. His professional background includes an Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering for Applied science and positions with Comp USA and Gateway as a hardware Technician.

- We have recently hired Noelle Dryver our Clinical Engineering Department as a BMET II. Her background includes a BS in Electronics Engineering and 4 years experience as an Ultrasound Specialist with GE Healthcare. She will be taking on our Ultrasound area as well as training and assisting Steve Cooper in all Radiology departments of UAMS.

- Please help us welcome L. Annette Robinette to the Clinical Engineering Department as our new Administrative Assistant II! She comes to us with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration received from University of Central Arkansas in 1999. Her professional background includes positions as Administrative Director, and Accounting Tech II in Home Health Medicare services.

- Please help us welcome Stephen Cooper our Clinical Engineering department. Steve has 20 years of Biomed experience including critical care work with Baptist Health and affiliates and received his Biomed certification in March of 1996. His expertise includes Ultrasound, and Imaging. He will be joining us as a CBET III.

- The Clinical Engineering Web Site finished migrating to the new UAMS campus standard template for web site layout. This makes UAMS web sites have more uniform layout and navigation schemes.

- Clinical Engineering has a new employee! Please help us welcome Ron Webb who will start working as a Biomedical Equipment Technician. Ron previously worked for MEDIQ PRN here on campus, so you may already know his face. He will be joining our team as primary on Infusion Pump!

- We are excited to announce that Dean Baribeau has accepted the position as Technical Manager for Clinical Engineering. We are confident that Dean will use his wealth of knowledge and common sense approach to successfully lead the department into the future.
