Dear Student:
I am delighted to
introduce you to a rewarding
career where you can put your
undergraduate science courses or
degree to work! Respiratory Care
is a "high tech" health care
career, in which you help
people, earn a great salary, and
enjoy nearly certain job
placement. Our full-time
Respiratory Care program is two
years in length, with programs
in Little Rock, Texarkana and
Batesville. Graduates earn a
Bachelor of Science.
We invite you and
your family to learn more about
our profession and program by
attending an open house on
Saturday, May 3, 2008 from
10:30 a.m. till noon on the UAMS
campus (see map), in the College
of Public Health Building, room
3202. You will learn more about
the profession through hands-on
demonstrations by our students.
You will also learn about our
educational program, including
prerequisite course requirements
and application procedures. It
will be an excellent opportunity
for you to explore the
advantages of a career as a
respiratory therapist and to
meet our students and faculty!
