The UAMS,
AHEC - Pine Bluff Family Practice Residency Program will be accepting
applications for the 2009-2010 residency positions exclusively through
the ERAS program. All allopathic positions will be filled through the
NRMP. All osteopathic positions will be filled through the AOA National
Matching Service.
We are looking for applicants who
have graduated medical school within the last five years, who have
achieved scores of 80+ on Parts I and II of the USMLE. The ONLY way
lower scores are accepted is IF the applicant has already passed USMLE
3. Multiple attempts to achieve minimum passing scores significantly
lowers the applicants ranking.
Applicants must have achieved 12 months
of clinical experience in the United States within the last 2 years. A
valid ECFMG Certificate is required. We do not sponsor any type of Visa.
The Residency Faculty will review applications and offer interviews to
those applicants who meet ALL of the above criteria.
