The College
of Medicine’s 125th
Anniversary Celebration was
held Saturday, October 2, at
the Peabody of Little Rock
and was attended by almost
500 people, including
faculty members, Hall of
Fame inductees and their
families. Thirty-seven
people were inducted into
the inaugural College of
Medicine Hall of Fame.
Opening remarks were made by
E. Albert Reece, M.D.,
Ph.D., M.B.A., dean and
vice chancellor of the
College of Medicine, Alan
Sugg, Ph.D.,
president of the University
of Arkansas System, and
I. Dodd Wilson, M.D.,
chancellor of UAMS. The Hall
